There’s not much more you could want than these soft & chewy vegan snickerdoodle cookies!
What are the ingredients in these cookies?
- vegan butter
- baking soda
- cream of tartar
- sugar
- flour
- vegan yogurt
- cinnamon
- vanilla extract
- salt
Tips for the best cookie
Start by melting the butter in either the microwave or over the stove. Then wait for it to cool before combining in with the rest of the ingredients. Don’t skip on using cream of tartar, its a key ingredient in snickerdoodle cookies!
Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and mix until just combined. This ensures you get a soft cookie that hasn’t been overworked.
Bake the cookies for only 8-10 minutes. It feels wrong and that the cookies will be raw, but trust me they won’t be! Once the edges are just set, take them out. They will continue to bake out of the oven on the rack.
Storing the Cookies
Store in a Tupperware container on the counter, once the cookies are fully cooled. They should last for up to one week (if they make it that long!)
